Studio

How we scope a project.

Every engagement begins with a conversation, not a proposal. We want to understand the business first — what it does, who it serves, and where the current website is getting in the way.

Discovery is short and deliberate. Usually a single call, followed by a written summary of what we've heard. If that summary reads like your business, we're aligned. If it doesn't, we adjust until it does.

Only then does a scope arrive. It lists what we're building, what we're not, and what it costs. No hidden retainers, no phased upsells. A deposit secures the schedule, and the balance is paid before launch.

This approach isn't efficient for every studio, but it's the only way we know to arrive at work that feels considered rather than assembled.
